MSI Benefits at a Glance

Medical Coverage

  • Immediate eligibility as of Date of Hire
  • $150.00 monthly payment to employees who elect to decline coverage
  • MSI provides two different medical PPO options

    Option I

    • 70% premium paid by MSI for employee and family
    • In-Network $100 individual deductible / $200 family maximum deductible
    • 80/20 plan with a $20 office visit co-pay

    Option II

    • 85% premium paid by MSI for employee and family
    • In-Network $2000 individual deductible / $4000 family maximum deductible; 60/40 plan
    • Option to open HSA account through First National Bank

Dental Coverage

  • Immediate eligibility as of Date of Hire
  • 50% premium paid by MSI for employee and family
  • $50 deductible, $0 deductible for preventative services, orthodontia coverage included, $1,500 cal. year max

Vision Coverage

  • Immediate eligibility as of Date of Hire
  • 50% premium paid by MSI for employee and family
  • Eye exam, frames, lenses, and contact lenses per 12 months
  • $10 co-pay for exams and lenses. $0 co-pay, $130 allowance for frames and contact lenses, with additional discounts after allowance is spent

Flexible Spending Account

  • Pre-tax savings for eligible Medical Care and Dependent Care expenses

401(k) Plan

  • ING, self-directing retail investment options - immediate eligibility first of month after hire date
  • 50% match for first 6% contribution, 75% of salary max. deferral amount
  • Three-year tiered-vesting schedule for employer-match funds

529 College Savings Plan

  • Employees may contribute to one of 14 portfolios managed by Putnam Investments
  • Savings accumulate tax free and may be used to pay for qualified higher education expenses

Term Life & Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance (AD&D)

  • MSI pays the premium
  • $100,000 Group Life & AD&D insurance

Long Term Disability Insurance

  • MSI pays the premium
  • The plan will pay 66.67% of employee's earnings after the employee has been disabled and unable to work for 90 days up to a maximum monthly benefit of $10,000
  • Employees may purchase additional Buy-Up Long Term Disability insurance

Short Term Disability Insurance

  • Employee pays the premium
  • The plan will pay 66.67% of employee's earnings after the employee has been disabled and unable to work 30 days but not longer than 90 days up to a maximum weekly benefit of $1,000

Family/Medical Leave Act (FMLA)

  • Absences which qualify under this Act have the benefit of job-protected leave for up to 12 weeks per year
  • MSI continues the employee's base salary during the first full 30 calendar days of qualified FMLA leave

Voluntary Term Life Insurance

  • Term Life Insurance you may purchase for yourself, spouse and dependents
  • Guarantee issue up to $150,000 for employee

Paid Time Off (PTO)

  • Less than 3 years of employment = 15 days annually
  • 3-7 years of employment = 20 days annually
  • After 7 years of employment, accrue one additional day of PTO per year of service up to a maximum of 25 days

Holidays

  • MSI recognizes 7.5 holidays per year

Pay Cycle

  • Paid twice a month - on the 1st and 16th (Commissions paid monthly)
  • 24 pay periods per year
  • Paid current

Wellness Program

  • MSI pays up to $240.00 every 12 months towards a health club membership of your choice
  • Internet-based Wellness Program - employees monitor their health and earn incentive points by filling out an online Health Assessment, attending a Health Screening, utilizing online health trackers, educational modules and by going to health appointments

Employee Assistance Program

  • A short-term counseling service to help you and your family with personal problems, such as marital conflicts, grief issues, stress, legal problems, emotional difficulties, substance abuse, financial troubles and more

Bonus Structure

  • Qualifying participants will be eligible to participate in MSI's Bonus Plan

Continuing Education and Training

  • All employees will have an annual education and training allowance

Tuition Reimbursement

  • MSI has a qualified tuition reimbursement plan for Bachelor Degree programs as well as for Master's and Ph.D. Degree programs. Tuition, books and lab fees are covered up to $5,000 per year.
