[Omaha, Neb. - February 2, 2000] - Cicso Systems announced today that Midland Systems, Inc (MSI) has met all criteria to become a Silver Certified business partner in the United States.

"MSI has completed a very focused effort to increase the level of both Cisco sales and support capabilities within its organization," said Cisco spokesperson Mark Poniatoski. "They have met the rigorous Cisco personnel competency levels required for Silver Certification. This ensures its sales and support organizations are better equipped to properly position, sell, install, and support Cisco solutions throughout the United States."

Poniatoski said MSI met the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) requirement for Silver certification. In addition, MSI demonstrated a strong, capability to provide comprehensive customer support.
