[Omaha, Neb. - February 10, 2000] - Cisco Systems announced today that Midland Systems, Inc. (MSI) has met all criteria to become Voice Access Specialized in the United States.

Cisco spokesperson Mark Poniatoski said MSI completed a very focused effort to increase the level of both Cisco sales and support capabilities within its organization.

"MSI met the rigorous Cisco certified personnel levels required for Voice Access Specialization," said Poniatoski. "This ensures that its sales and support organizations are better equipped to properly sell, design, install, and support Cisco Voice Access products throughout the United States."

On the support side, Poniatoski said MSI demonstrated a strong capability to provide comprehensive customer support on an around the clock basis. "From an overall project management perspective, MSI has developed a first rate process for managing all phases of complex Voice Access project implementations."

MSI President Bob Gentzler called the achievement a demonstration of MSI's expertise in the new world of complex networking technologies.
