[Omaha, Neb. - August 3, 2001] - MSI Systems Integrators announced today it has achieved the IP Telephony Specialization from Cisco Systems, Inc. The IP Telephony Specialization recognizes MSI with the ability to plan, design, implement and support Cisco IP Telephony solutions.

"The Cisco Channel Specializations are designed to help channel partners develop a technology specific expertise, enabling them to differentiate themselves from the competition," said Tushar Kothari, Vice President, Channels for Cisco Systems. "By achieving our IP Telephony Specialization, channel partners earn more credibility and are recognized for having a proven expertise in Cisco IP Telepony solutions."

Cisco specializations require channel partners to fill the following job roles with individuals who have met specific testing requirements: an account manager, responsible for the sales and customer engagement processes; a sales engineer, responsible for the network planning and design; and a field engineer, responsible for the implementation and support of the specified Cisco solution.
