MSI Systems Integrators Opens Second Technology Enablement Center

MSI Systems Integrators (MSI) will open its Technology Enablement Center (TEC) May 14 in Bloomington, Minnesota

[Omaha, Neb. - May 13, 2003] - MSI Systems Integrators, a leading comprehensive solution provider of information technology (IT) hardware, software and service solutions will open its Technology Enablement Center (TEC) May 14 in Bloomington, Minnesota. The multi-million dollar showcase of servers, software, storage and networking technologies, coupled with MSI's unique customer-centric briefing format, will provide customers a one-of-a-kind "try before you buy" experience. The 560 sq. ft. information technology equipment room and conference facilities provide customers a place to learn about, view and test the latest IT solutions in an informal, hands-on environment. The TEC is comprised of individual solution labs that contain technologies from IBM, McDATA, Cisco, and other industry leaders.

"MSI's Bloomington TEC extends and expands the capabilities of our existing IBM-branded 'WebSphere Innovation Center' and 'TotalStorage Solution Center' concepts by including servers, content management software, networking, and on demand computing capabilities," said Jim Simpson, president and chief operating officer, MSI Systems Integrators. "Clients are looking for ways to improve their return on investments (ROI) and the TEC allows them to make confident, well informed decisions with projected results."

Since the opening of the first Technology Enablement Center in 2000 at MSI's headquarters in Omaha, Neb., the TEC has hosted over 85 private client briefings. With the opening of the Bloomington Center, MSI expects to duplicate the value for local customers in Minnesota and the surrounding business communities.

Official ribbon cutting ceremonies will begin at 11:00 a.m. on May 14 and will be attended by John Lutz, IBM's vice president of e-business on demand; Kate Rubin, president of the Minnesota High Tech Association; Ruthe Batulis, president of the Bloomington Council - Minneapolis regional Chamber of Commerce; and Dave Abrams, Bloomington City Council Member. The ribbon cutting ceremonies will be held at the MSI Systems Integrators office located at 7760 France Avenue South, Suite 1310 in Bloomington.
