MSI Systems Integrators Hires Craig Nelson as Vice President of Storage and Promotes Phil Sauvageau to Executive Vice President

[Omaha, Neb. - July 23, 2003] - MSI Systems Integrators, a leading comprehensive solution provider of hardware, software and services, today announced that Craig Nelson has joined the company as vice president of storage. Craig will report to Phil Sauvageau, who was promoted last year from vice president of storage to executive vice president of infrastructure integration.
As vice president for storage, Nelson is responsible for building, directing and coordinating MSI's storage practice. He provides expertise in the ongoing development of comprehensive storage solutions to meet the needs of both small and large organizations in today's business environment. He oversees a team of specialists with over 80 storage certifications from industry leaders such as IBM and leverages key relationships with partners to offer world-class products and services.
Nelson has over twenty years within the technology industry. Prior to joining MSI, he served as vice president of sales and service management for (i)Structure, Inc., a Level 3 Communications subsidiary, where his responsibilities included leading and managing a nationwide sales team to grow new and existing accounts while managing various partner programs. Before joining (i)Structure, Nelson spent ten years with IBM working as a marketing manager and regional large systems specialist. He received his BA in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln.
Sauvageau was promoted after two successful years growing MSI's Storage Practice into one of the region's premier storage providers. As executive vice president of infrastructure integration, he is responsible for the overall strategic direction for services and executive business management for MSI's Storage, eServer, Enterprise Software & Solutions, Networking and Print/Output Management practices. He also facilitates the integration of service offerings between the practices.
Sauvageau joined MSI in October 1995. In his eight years at MSI, Sauvageau has held RS/6000 (pSeries) engineering and management positions. Prior to joining MSI, Sauvageau held AS/400 (iSeries) engineering and consulting positions. He earned his Hydraulic Engineering Degree from the University of Kansas and is currently a member of Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA).
