MSI Systems Integrators Builds a Third Technology Enablement Center ™

MSI Systems Integrators (MSI) will open its third Technology Enablement Center ™ (TEC) May 20 in Overland Park, KS

[Overland Park, KS - May 18, 2004] - MSI Systems Integrators, one of only two IBM Business Partners in the Americas to house both a TotalStorage Solution Center™ and a Websphere® Innovation Center, will open its third Technology Enablement Center™ (TEC) May 20 in Overland Park, KS. Packed with the latest in On Demand technologies, the TEC's 144 sq. ft. of space will include BladeCenter, all eServer brands, Storage, all Software Power Brands, Networking, Print, Linux and ISV software.

"Companies today are structuring their IT planning so that it matches the overall business plan for the organization," said Jim Simpson, MSI President. "Our TECs are built so that organizations can view and test the latest IT solutions in an informal, hands-on environment."

Each TEC is comprised of individual solution labs that contain technologies from IBM, Cisco, McDATA and other industry leaders. The TEC's data center power, monitoring, and environmental equipment provide the 'plug and play' environment necessary for IT individuals to determine what is best for their organization's current or planned IT environment. The TEC is built for education, demonstration, and proof-of-concept projects in a laboratory setting.

"Our TEC helps them visualize how the right IT foundation not only helps their IT departments succeed, but can help propel Sales and Marketing, Customer Service and Operations," said Phil Sauvageau, Executive VP, MSI Infrastructure Integration.

Currently, MSI has two existing locations in Omaha, NE and Bloomington, MN. Since the opening of the first Technology Enablement Center in 2000 in Omaha, Neb., the TEC has hosted more than 273 briefings. It holds a customer satisfaction rating of 84%. With the opening of the Bloomington Center, MSI added the additional capability to demonstrate the replication of data over long distances for companies facing rapid data growth, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuance issues.

Official ribbon cutting ceremonies will begin at 3:00 p.m. on May 20, 2004 at the MSI Systems Integrators Overland Park office, located at 84 Corporate Woods, 10801 Mastin Blvd., Suite 720, Northeast of Hwy 69 and College Blvd. For more information about the TEC Grand Opening, call 913.322.2010 or visit www.msiinet.com.
