[Portland, Ore. - May 18, 2005] - MSI Systems Integrators (MSI), winner of IBM's Distinguished Blue Diamond Award, as IBM's top business partner award for the Americas, will open its sixth Technology Enablement Center (TEC) May 26th in Portland. Packed with the latest in on demand technologies, the TEC's 287 sq. ft. of space will include server, storage, middleware, networking and security offerings.

"Companies today are looking for ways meet the challenges of on demand business while still reducing their risks in regards to IT spending," said Jim Simpson, MSI president and CEO. "Our TECs are built so that organizations can view and experience the latest IT solutions in an informal, hands-on environment."

Each TEC is comprised of individual solution labs that contain hardware and software technologies from IBM, Cisco Systems, McDATA and other industry leaders. The TEC's data center power, monitoring, and environmental equipment provide the 'plug and play' environment necessary for IT individuals to determine what is best for their organization's current or planned IT infrastructure. The TEC is designed for education, demonstration, and proof-of-concept projects in a laboratory setting.

Since the opening of the first Technology Enablement Center in 2000 in Omaha, MSI has hosted more than 500 briefings with a customer satisfaction rating of 84%. With the addition of the Bloomington, Overland Park, West Des Moines and St. Louis centers, MSI created the additional capability to demonstrate the replication of data over long distances for companies facing rapid data growth, backup, disaster recovery and business continuance issues.
