MSI Systems Integrators (MSI) announced that Mike Fischer has been promoted to executive vice president of business solutions

[Omaha, Neb. - July 28, 2005] - MSI Systems Integrators (MSI), a leading comprehensive solution provider of hardware, software and services, announced that Mike Fischer has been promoted to executive vice president of business solutions.

As executive vice president, Fischer is responsible for defining MSI's core solutions offerings, enhancing the technology market offerings and driving the expansion of the MSI solutions and services capacity. MSI's seven business solutions include infrastructure simplification, business continuity, business intelligence, business integration, enterprise management, enterprise security and content management. Fischer will also lead the new business solutions initiative focused on mobility and wireless business solutions.

Fischer has more than 26 years experience within the technology industry. Prior to his new position at MSI he served as vice president of enterprise software and services. Before joining MSI, he was president and CEO of Al Software Solutions. Fischer also served as director of IBM Global Services and held several manager-level positions through his 19 year career at IBM Corporation. Fischer received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and Psychology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
